Your Simple Guide to Oktoberfest in Phoenixville

The annual festival celebrated in Munich, Germany, is now a traditional way for businesses to ring in the fall season with a beer-centric twist. For local breweries, you can find Oktoberfest batches. At restaurants, you might find German-style specials. No matter what, you’ll be able to find a way to knock your boots together and clash mugs for Oktoberfest in Phoenixville. Here are the places that have already announced Oktoberfest events. 

Bridgetoberfest

The Phoenixville Area Chamber of Commerce and Sly Fox Brewing Company are collaborating for the first-ever Bridgetoberfest. The event is occurring at the Bridge Street parking lot on September 30 and October 1. Tickets to the event can be purchased online at slyfoxbrewingcompany.com.

According to the event details, tickets are $30.00 and include the following: 

  • 2-hour reservation and seat in the Biergarten tent situated in the lot at the corner of Main and Bridge Streets
  • Half-liter Bridgetoberfest 2022 souvenir mug filled with Sly Fox Oktoberfest Lager
  • Handmade Bavarian-style pretzel
  • Traditional German music by The Emil Schanta Band (Friday) & Kermit “Dr. Squeezebox” Ohlinger (Saturday)
  • A chance to win a trip for two (2) to Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest in 2023! (extra chances are also available for purchase through the online ticket page and live, at the event. YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT YOUR BIERGARTEN SESSION TO HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN.)

Portions of the proceeds will go to Phoenixville Area Community Services. 

Bistro on Bridge Oktoberfest Celebration

The team at Bistro is excited to tie Oktoberfest into their 13th anniversary. The event is happening on September 24 starting at 11:00 a.m. The celebration isn’t just for thirsty adults, there are things to do for all ages. Check out the event page for all details, but here is a brief overview of the Oktoberfest happenings. 

  • German-inspired eats & ales that entire day 
  • Special Merch Release that includes two Bistro branded mugs to fill & two unique t-shirt designs 
  • Live Music (No Cover) 
  • Photo Booth 
  • Activities for Kids

Phoenixville Area Senior Center Oktoberfest

This non-profit’s mission “exists to serve, support, and enhance the lives of all senior citizens…” The organization is putting on a night of Oktoberfest fun featuring the following: 

  • Live music with the Lukens Band 
  • Dinner includes brats, hot dogs, sauerkraut, German potato salad, dessert, rootbeer, and beer.
