Phoenixville’s First Friday Holiday Edition is happening this Friday, December 2. The borough has a few events happening to complement the annual tree lighting. Here’s everything going on this upcoming weekend.

Tree Lighting

This is the borough’s kickoff to the holiday season. You can expect a celebration at the corner of Main and Bridge Streets. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. Local DJ “The Spin Therapist” will be spinning holiday tunes.

To complement the tree lighting, there will be dancers, vendors, hot chocolate, and of course, Santa.

Santa’s House

Starting this Friday, you can visit Santa at 198 Bridge Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. He will be available multiple times this December, for full details check out tistheseasonpxv.com

The borough is also accepting donations to St. Mary Shelter. St Mary’s mission “is to create a safe, peaceful, community environment for homeless families. We foster dignity and independence through supportive programming developed with local agencies and ecumenical organizations,” according to the website
