It’s never too early to get in the holiday spirit! The holiday season gives you another reason to walk around downtown Phoenixville and take in the sights and sounds. From the tree lighting to small businesses, it’s a joyful time to visit Phoenixville. Here are some ideas to get you into the seasonal mood. 

Phoenixville Christmas Tree Lighting 

First Friday and the annual Christmas Tree Lighting will happen on December 4. Like many towns around the nation, the tree lighting is a way for communities to kick off the season. 

Firebird Festival

This annual event happens on December 10. It honors the namesake of Phoenixville–the Phoenix. Visit the site to learn about its history. 

See a Holiday Film at The Colonial Theatre 

The Colonial Theatre has holiday classics on deck for the season. The theatre is also hosting holiday events with dancing, music, and performances. Check out the upcoming events here

Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular 

This gigantic light display is just a short drive outside of Phoenixville in Oaks. The light show features Philly-themed lights, art vendors, and food and drinks.

Breakfast With Santa at Steel City 

Head on down to Steel City Coffeehouse & Brewery for breakfast with Santa on December 4. According to the event, if you bring a donation for Phoenixville Area Community Services you can get your picture taken with Santa for no additional charge!

Christmas at Colonial Gardens 

Starting November 26, Colonial Gardens features a variety of different Christmas-themed events for everyone. 

Learn Gift Tag Calligraphy at Rec Room 

Southern Mill Calligraphy will be at Rec Room putting on a class to teach customers the art of calligraphy for holiday tables, Christmas trees, hostess gifts, gift tags, and holiday card mailings. The event occurs on December 13 at 6:00 p.m. 

Get Your Christmas Tree at Yeager’s Farm & Market

Go to Yeager’s with your family to get your Christmas tree. The grand opening is on November 19 at 9:00 a.m. 

Phoenixville Candlelight Holiday Tour

According to the website, this is a yearly tour showcasing the homes and the people of the Phoenixville area and how they celebrate their holidays. The showcase happens on December 3 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

West Chester Christmas Tree Train 

Take a 30-minute drive to West Chester for a unique experience. The train departs from West Chester to Wiggins Tree Farm where you can pick and cut down your tree. This event happens on November 27 and December 4. Find out more on the site
