The biggest tourist attraction in the DelMar area stretches along Maryland’s coastline. The 9-mile town situated above the Virginia border is full of shops, restaurants, and recreation. Ocean City attracts beach-goers of all ages because it truly has something for everyone. Not only does it provide sun and sand, but it also offers plenty of places to eat. The best places to dine are ones with a view and this waterfront restaurant doesn’t disappoint.

Fish Tales

This bar and grill on 22nd Street is a must-visit anytime I visit Ocean City, Maryland. Something about the restaurant feels like home.

If you’re staying on the strip, this is the best place to catch the sunset. West Ocean City visitors, this waterfront restaurant isn’t too far from the bridge. No matter what, this location is close to everything in OC.

You can be comfortable bringing your family here because there are large tables for the whole crew. For families with young kids, there’s a small playground and kids seem to get a kick out of the hammock chairs on the sand.

Although the dining experience is casual during the day, you can still grab a drink after hours too. The restaurant offers specials for people looking to experience Ocean City nightlife. You might also recognize the floating tiki bars in the water–you can charter the Crusin’ Tikis at Fish Tales.

This restaurant sits within the Bahia Marina. Oftentimes, you can watch the boats dock and see the anglers’ daily hauls. It’s also a popular marina for competitive fishing tournaments.

Whatever your preference, nothing beats dining at a waterfront restaurant.
