It’s not a surprise that Berks County’s little piece of Italy continues to grow. Kutztown’s coveted Folino Estate Winery announced on April 11 that it’s adding an inn and spa to its existing property. This recent announcement came a few months after breaking ground on another Vintner’s Table.

The Future of the Folino Estate Winery

Situated on a 54-acre property, Folino Estate includes a vineyard, winery, tasting room, and event space. It produces a variety of wines like red, white, and rose. The restaurant features Italian-inspired cuisine made with locally-sourced ingredients and offers outdoor seating with beautiful views of the Berk County countryside.

And now the owners, Andrea and Marco, are taking it a step further with another big announcement.

The digital renderings display a “village-style” inn and spa. As the Instagram post states, “…It will further create a destination-style visit and the feeling of Italy in Pennsylvania.”

Folino started in Kutztown and recently expanded to 2 additional winery locations in the Pennsylvania area–Phoenixville and Wyomissing.

The latest announcement shows the dedication to bringing a luxurious and Mediterranean vibe to eastern PA.

The winery will host an open house meet and greet cocktail event for accredited investors. For more details on the event, see the caption on Instagram.
