Here’s How You Can Win Thousands in Local Gift Cards by Participating in Hello 422’s ‘Shop Small to Win Big’ Event
If you ever wondered how you can support small businesses in a bigger way, check out the Shop Small to Win Big event from Hello 422. It’s a unique 10-day event starting in November to encourage shopping and eating at local South East PA businesses. You can win thousands of dollars in gift cards by simply supporting one of 101 businesses taking part in the event.
How You Can Win
The event runs from November 25 to December 4 and includes a $10,000 prize pool. To enter the prize drawing, you’ll need to spend at least $50 at one of the participating businesses and snap a pic of your receipt. Email the receipt to chris@hello422.com or send it via Facebook messenger to Hello 422.
At the conclusion of the event, three random local shoppers will be selected via Facebook Live and win gift cards to all the participating small businesses. Each winner will take home over $3,000.

How ‘Shop Small to Win Big’ Started
Shop Small Win Big was launched in 2020 as a way to support small businesses during the pandemic. Founder of Hello422 Chris Lerch rounded up over 80 businesses to contribute a $100 gift card as a challenge set on the community. The idea was simple, spend $50 or more at a local business and enter to win the pool of gift cards.
Over $80,000 was spent in the 1-week challenge for small businesses in 2020.
Since the first contest, Hello422 evolved into a brand to help small businesses from Pottstown to Phoenixville. This year’s event features over 100 businesses and is continuing to support the local economy.
