Skilled with scissors and trained for style–barbers are masters at the art of hair. Their canvas is different than your typical artist. People seek out their skills by visiting a barbershop to find the perfect artist to match their needs. For locals in Phoenixville, a new barbershop opens on January 7 at 509 Kimberton Road, owned and operated by passionate barbers.

Unchained Barbershop

The newest barbershop in the Phoenixville area is named Unchained Barbershop. Phoenixville native John Ceianti and female co-owners Maddie Lesinski and Mackenzie Shoemaker own the neighborhood-style shop.

The shop offers the classic barber experience including hot towel shaves. Co-owner Maddie Lesinski has dual licenses–barber and cosmetology. Focused on making you look the best, the team is serving all genders, ages, styles, and textures.

The trio is passionate about animals and plans on working with local shelters in the future. They are excited to show what they can offer and give back to the community that has already given them so much.
