New layout at Sweet Brew Cafe – Taken by Bizcolumnist.com

You know you’re doing something right when you need to change the layout of your business to accommodate an influx of customers. The takeout coffee shop Sweet Brew Cafe is one year into its existence on Bridge Street in downtown Phoenixville and is becoming a destination for locals and visitors. Bizcolumnist.com caught up with the owners to talk about the change for customers.

Sweet Brew: Serving the Community

Before the new layout at Sweet Brew, customers walked in and immediately were presented with a forward-facing register. Now when you walk in, there is a flow to keep customer ordering and moving through the cafe. Check out the new layout on Instagram.

Co-owner Michael Weiss says they would receive feedback from customers who were unsure of where to get in line and where to wait for their order. After speaking with other restaurant professionals, they decided to change the layout for a more efficient and appealing setup.

If you were one of the original customers, you know that the early days were impacted by the publications interested in writing about the unique experience. Over the past year, you can see the tremendous strides the owners have taken to listen to the community.

From new specials to non-profits, you can find the cafe owners building a tight-knit community around them. Support these small business owners by following Sweet Brew on Instagram.
