6 Must-Try Food Recommendations From a Mont Clare Writer
It’s easy to say amazing things about the Phoenixville area. We’re seeing an influx of new and returning residents to the town, which makes for a growing audience. The people within the community make it special, and there are endless stories to tell. Montco.Today’s editor, and Mont Clare native, Christine Tarlecki is telling stories catered to the Phoenixville area and beyond. She was able to share food recommendations with bizcolumnist.com using her local writing experience.
Christine isn’t just a writer for the publication, she’s also a long-time resident of Mont Clare and grew up in Royersford. She says that living in Mont Clare–where she’s lived since 25–gives her the best of both worlds, the fun of Phoenixville and the comfort of Mont Clare.
She is passionate about food, entrepreneurship, and human interest stories around the area.
“I love writing about food (and eating it!), but the stories that inspire me the most are human interest features. When I can write about a resident in Montgomery County that has overcome odds or a Chester County business where someone is a new entrepreneur–that’s what I love.”
Christine Tarlecki – Montco.Today, Editor
All of her stories are told through the online publication Montco.today. The site is dedicated to telling uplifting news about Pennsylvania. You’ll find tons of interesting stories about business, people, and events around the Montgomery and Chester counties area.
As a foodie, writer, and local resident, she has insight into the food-based gems in the surrounding area. These are food recommendations you have to check out.
Mont Clare Deli
Mont Clare Deli along Route 29 replaced the old Eagles Nest Deli. It is Steel City Coffeehouse & Brewery’s latest satellite location. This spot is Christine’s recommendation for breakfast sandwiches! Bizcolumnist.com also recommends switching up your breakfast sandwich bread with a kaiser roll.
Fitzwater Station
Located along the Schuykill Canal, Fitzwater is a great place to drop your kayak. You can also get a drink and a bite to eat at the restaurant.
Phoenixville Farmers Market
This spot is self-explanatory because it features local everything. You can find produce, art, baked goods, and more.
Baba’s Brew
This Kombucha brand is based in Phoenixville. It’s a little-known fact because the tasting room sits on the front side of the brewery on Morgan Street. It’s one of Christine’s favorite drinks to pick up.
True Blue Bakery
Christine says the Australian pies at True Blue are a necessary evil. The Royersford bakery keeps you coming back for more!
Corropolese Italian Bakery
Simply said, “The BEST everything.” Corropolese has 3 locations: Norristown, Limerick, and Audubon. The tomato pie is a staple in the Philadelphia region.
