Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Phoenixville
Ah yes, another year, another St. Patrick’s Day. The smell of stale beer and the sight of “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” shirts are right around the corner. It’s the only acceptable day to drink green beer and wear light-up shamrocks. With the holiday on Thursday, I decided to do the digging for you and curate a list of places where you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Phoenixville.
Molly Maguire’s Irish Restaurant and Bar
This staple Irish bar in Phoenixville is prominently on display at the corner of Bridge and Main Street.
The allure of Molly’s pub attracts party-goers every weekend. On St Paddy’s Day, the bar puts on a VIP experience. The partying starts on Thursday with their $30 promotion.
PJ Ryan’s pub
This Irish bar is a hotspot for younger crowds. PJ Ryans have a couple of locations, but the Phoenixville bar sits next to the historical Colonial Theater.
As of this blog’s release, there are no specials announced. However, it’s expected that an Irish bar has themed drinks for the big day. The West Chester location already kicked off the holiday week with live music.
Bistro on Bridge
Thankfully I checked Bistro before I wrote this list. Bistro posted a teaser photo on its Instagram announcing live music starting on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
Stable 12
Stable 12 is known for its Penn State pride, but this week it’s joining the Irish fun. St. Patrick’s Day specials feature its Nitro Stout, Murphy’s Law. Check out the mouth-watering specials below.
Iron Hill Brewery
You got to love special brews for the drinking holiday. Iron Hill is releasing 2 stouts called O’Sullivan and Big Sully. You can pair the stout with its porter-infused Irish potatoes.
To add to the celebration, Iron Hill will have an Irish dancer from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Details are on the Facebook event page.
Sly Fox Brewing Company
Breweries jump at the chance to release themed beer and you can always count on Sly Fox to have something to pour. This Montco-based brewery has several locations around the Route 422 area. The Phoenixville location is off Kimberton road within the plaza containing Planet Fitness and Ace Hardware.
The online promo hints at a St. Patrick’s Day party at ALL Sly Fox locations. You can find Seamus red ale and O’Reilly’s stout on tap at the bar.
Fitzwater Station
This tavern sits on the canal–adjacent to Phoenixville’s downtown area. In the summer, Fitzwater is a stop for kayakers and outdoor enthusiasts. However, you can count on Fitzwater Station for St. Paddy’s Day.

Need gear for the holiday? Root Down has a beer-inspired design you can pick up at the brewery. Although I didn’t see specials for the day, you can support the brewery by purchasing an Irish tee.
