This Mission-Driven Chester Springs Jewelry Store Celebrates One Year Anniversary
In April 2022, Chester Springs, PA, welcomed a unique jewelry store. This store isn’t anything like a big box brand–it’s a gathering space full of passion and strength. As the boutique approaches one year in business, the mission continues to shine through to its customers.
The Jeweled Warrior
This anything-but-average store features sustainable fine jewelry, local artisan gifts, and provides an engaging gathering space. The core of its mission is fueled by its owner, Kristin Costin.
The name “The Jeweled Warrior” reflects Costin’s lifelong mission to help raise awareness for endometriosis. It took over 17 years to be diagnosed with endo. She began having symptoms at 12 and wasn’t officially diagnosed until 29. After her diagnosis, she knew that she had to help change the narrative of the illness. After years of traveling to speak at conferences to professionals and patients about the standard care of endometriosis, she opened her store.
“The Jeweled Warrior will be a gallery where people are inspired to share their stories through creative gatherings and feel empowered participating in the purposeful purchasing of sustainable jewelry and art.”
With that, 1% of store profits are donated to the Jeweled Endo Warrior program! The proceeds go toward research and awareness for women fighting endometriosis so they can get back to thriving instead of just surviving.
One Year Celebration
According to the press release, “The gallery opened its doors on April 2, 2022. The owner, Kristin Costin, took over as a new tenant to the property in September of 2021. After 7 months of extensive renovations to this historic home in the heart of Eagle, she and her team transformed a dated tea shop into a two-story Enchanted Forest gallery with bespoke displays and murals throughout.
“In addition to the retail portion of the gallery, The Jeweled Warrior boasts a rotating art gallery on the second floor. Lovingly called The Transformative Gallery, this section houses monthly rotating solo local artists’ exhibits. Each month the public is welcome to attend the exhibit’s Opening Reception (free of charge) for a glass of complimentary champagne, live acoustic guitar, and the chance to meet the artist.”
The Jeweled Warrior will be celebrating its one-year anniversary on April 1st and 2nd, 2023. It will be featuring exclusive sales on select items, a raffle to benefit endometriosis awareness campaigns, tipsy tarot card readings, a pysanky egg workshop, wine and cheese tastings, and a prosperity ceremony!
