2 Must-Visit Oceanfront Restaurants in Bethany Beach
Resting along the coast of the Mid-Atlantic region are the quaint beaches of America’s first state. The Delaware coastline is home to many popular vacation destinations–most of which are south of Cape Henlopen. The stretch of Route 1 from Rehobeth to Fenwick is packed with recreation, food, and fun. For hungry travelers, you have to visit these two oceanfront restaurants in Bethany Beach.
Big Chill Beach Club
Just over the Charles W. Cullen Memorial Bridge is the Indian River Inlet in the Delaware Seashore State Park. Within the park sits a wooden oasis called the Big Chill Beach Club.
It’s easy to relax at this restaurant. The Big Chill offers views of the inlet and the ocean. Just take a seat at one of the outdoor, or covered, tables and enjoy your meal within the state park.
This gem is easily one of the best oceanfront restaurants in the Bethany Beach area. Remember to bring cash for the entrance fee for the state park–the money goes back into the recreation and wildlife around you.
Mangos
If you love the hustle and bustle of a boardwalk, Mangos is the spot for you. This Caribbean-style restaurant overlooks the beach.
This restaurant has something for everyone. You can watch a game at the bar, have a family dinner, or sip a cocktail and take in the views.
It’s located at the end of Garfield Parkway at the entrance of the boardwalk. The location is perfect for families because of its easy access to the shops along the parkway.
Parking can be tough depending on the time and day. There are metered parking spots all along the shopping area and limited to two hours per person.
Bethany Beach
As someone who frequently travels to Delmarva, Bethany is one of my favorite places to go. There are plenty of oceanfront restaurants in Bethany Beach, but these are must-visit spots.
